Princess Calla has accepted to run with Grant van Niekerk aboard. So the owners are targeting the Met.

Malmoos although by Captain Al is from the family of Met Winner, London News.

Interestingly Erik The Red is also from the same family through Promisefrommyheart being their granddam. Erik The Red dam, Covenant, won the Majorca. Erik The Red will stand at stud they have announced.

Malmoos I'm sure is a future stallion prospect to.

MALMOOS WIN/PLACE.

A 3 Y/O has beaten the oldies in the QPlate carrying more than 54 kg.

I see Malmoos has now gone 25/1 at HW and 28/1 at WSB - so I guess he won't be running ..... interestingly though Queen Supreme is as short as 5/1 at HW:ohmy:

Based on the July results DO IT AGAIN is the best weighted runner. However, what Cirillo did in the Champions Cup was scary plus he reproduced the figure in the GRPO.

For those like myself who think Erik the Red is a good thing, have a look at this:

www.formgrids.info/subscriber/proLengthB...KW&dist=1200&cnty=ZA

Clouds Unfold carrying 61kg would have worked the field. Makes you wonder what Celtic Sea is going to do in the Cape Flying Championship.

But then again Erik The Red is already being advertised as a Stallion and needs a Grade 1:

13 possibles remain before this morning's final acceptance - already a lack of pace seems evident - unless the Marshall stable accept with both their runners and use Captain of Stealth as a pacemaker

Queen Supreme accepted - Malmoos not - only waiting on Running Brave - and pace is going to be an issue imo - unless the Snaith's decide to sacrifice African Night Sky
