I think most of us on here (except durbs) realize that horses are not machines - and as PeterD has mentioned, they will surprise (and also disappoint) everyone on occasion.

Just on our filly, she was totally lost, and also outpaced from the 800m on - so she is either useless (hopefully not) or she needs a lot further - that being said, the winner may be quite useful, as we only finished a bit more than 4 lengths off the exposed Stole Kiss - so we still live in hope

We were in the Elevation Room, and I have to say the food was - let's just be polite and say 'not great' - I believe new caterers have been appointed (not sure if this was due to 4Racing now being in charge) - but I was not impressed; can't really blame COVID imo, one can understand the variety not being up to the same level as before, but at least make sure the quality that is presented to your customers is up to scratch

I agree with buffet, much preferred basic menu at Vaal .
