Unfortunately this race didn't help Attie to get a run in the July.
At the weights it should have beaten Aranjuez by 8 lengths but was beaten by more than 3.
Should have been 3-10 with the bookies yet it started at 15-10,they sure weren't scared too try rope us in.

I dont think it was good ride at all, Horse should have never been taken to the front by 2/3 lenghts carrying that weight, so early in the race. When I saw that happen I knew the result. My 2 cents. Cost Attie a July place mxm

It did not go to post well...I don't think any ride would have got him to the number 1 box...one of those days IMO...

Could be,but he had to be on top of his game today.
He had to win this race,and should have easily at the weights,to get a run in the countries biggest race.
He chose the wrong day to have an off day.
But as Frodo has taught me,horses are not machines.
Hopefully he gets another chance to prove if he is good enough for the July.
