For my money, it has to be Craig Zaki. It's been a long time since I've seen a jockey judge pace so well ! Composed, balanced rider that always seems to give his mount a chance....

quite a few variables.
Hewitson, ferraris and Murray were good for 350 winners and about 3000 mounts in the season
Kennedy wins if he stays for the 12 months. My pick
Yeni needs to find a ride in PE to challenge again
Fourie if he picks up more rides for Greeff yard big threat.
Who will ride for Tarry
Can Marco pick up rides in JHB or KZN. He is good for 120 -150 winners

I think Gavin Lerena will be my bet for the new Tarry Jock. Though i think he should take on Kyle Strydom

Dennis Schwarz will be a solid replacement, hard working jock who tries on every mount.

Bright upcoming youngster who deserves a chance on a higher level imo.

One of the most underrated jockeys is Sherman Brown but just get enough chances or some one other reason he use to ride loads of winners for late leon erasmus but now and again gets rides for Gray and odd other stables just this weekend came to dbn just for one ride on laird of breedon didn't run a place but shows commitment on jockeys part.

Big shoes to fill with Lyle leaving and danielson was given chances before maybe can step up now

Hi Dave

Its clear that Kennedy is keen to chase again already riding at Fairview which is a key to winning the title. Muzi isn't afraid to fly everyday to ride so he will inevitably be a contender. And his yard in Jhb (Matchett) has tons of 2yos. Whoever gets the job with Tarry will go close. And then if Fourie rides regularly in Durban and PE he could also be involved. Very interesting this season
