.....and now they start f@cking with the GR1 feed on the Crenova decoder.....about 40min ago I get a nice pink and blue banner up on the screen informing me that GR1 channel is moving....please turn off decoder and then back on and it will retune......now for those that do not have these wonderful free gift boxes the GR1 feed is on channel 9...
channel 8 is Gallo[p TV international....channel 7 is GallopTV local....so I go to 9 still the banner....then go searching through the now 18 channels looking for GR1.....and find it at channel 17....:S

.....not very smart as now the big PT of flicking through 11 channels to get from GallopTV to GR1.....how far do they really want to go....:S

.....thanks guys I get the message....I'll stick with GallopTV and WSB....

.....when are they ever going to get it right....my other pet peeve is that they constantly show a 3rd place provisional payout in a less than 8 runner field....vowed that I would stay away from this channel but skipping from GallopTV all the way to channel 17 is a mission....SW18 reeled off some big impressive racing guys names that would like to meet and iron out gripes....a total waste of time I told him....because if none of those paid employees can manage a studio and school the staff to check and get it right..... then they are simply wasting more of the MOD money....as just imagine a newbie getting a thill out of seeing a winning payout only to find out that there were scratchings and he is getting bubkis.....:S

I have noticed that Channel 240/DSTV Now differs from 4Racing Global One Channel stream.

......thanx Naresh for the World pools explanation on the other thread.....would wager that not many at the tote would know the rules in this regard....

......I see now that they have put the GR1 feed back at channel 9.....but was it necessary to have tried to make a hair brained move to frustrate the viewers and not realize the consequences ....this lot are no better than their predecessors and the bigger spend is still fraught with slapgat actions like these and a total waste of the investment pledged for a more professional product.....:(

......still a choppy picture and no sound....but some one must be in studio putting up the betting slides and banners.... they are getting the same Ozz feed as Gallop TV but no such problems there...

I am being critical because these guys d!d not get the h!nd t!t when it comes to funding.....yet their quality looks like they are on a shoe string budget....one has gotta ask what have they done with Mary's moola ....

Was not sure what thread to use as I have not really been watching the 4Racing channel for any length of time but today have been watching PE and overseas racing .

I thought the coverage has been superb, different camera angles, great cross overs and split screen, interviews before and after.
The man pushing the buttons is on the ball.
Plus fixed odds betting.

.....I just wish that they could get it right on the Crenova decoder though......but maybe those big tote punters that were gifted these by Phum are no longer important to them.....
