Why is there no different ratings for horses on Turf and Polytrack where that horse clearly performs better on a certain surface to the other.
Valiente and Blackwhitedynamite have won numerous times on the Polytrack but never on Turf.
All the above mentioned horses and many others should definitely have separate ratings for Turf and Polytrack.
In the UK, the British Horseracing Authority, do have separate ratings for Turf and Artificial Surfaces where a horse shows a preference to the other. Note not all horses in the UK have separate ratings. Its about 10% of them.
