he didn't die - only retired
and if you enjoyed him so much, there are still at least a dozen princes of WAFFLE to listen to
and if you listen to the tips and other info blasted out - "he walks well, he loooks well, he's in a good space", you are buggered- 14 0f the 10 horses in every race pass those criteria
they have nice things to day about every horse - ask them to SHUT UP

All the best Cecil ,I wish you happy retirement.I remember round about 2001 I met you at Loveday JHB where the bookies were located and you gave me a 20/1 shot , Oppenheimer horse that won at Scottsville.
