Gavin Lerena has appealed against the charge of 90 days with 60 suspended and a R200,000 fine with R100,000 suspended regarding the WhipGates affair.
That does not tell us WHEN the appeal will be heard - I submit that everyone knows that he was provoked by Gates - but still Lerena did hit him .... and that he can choose to when the suspension kicks in
That for me is the problem. When will the appeal be heard? Conveniently after the championship is over? A 6 month holiday after winning the championship doesn't seem to be to much of a punishment does it?
