Hoekom is al jou picks dan perde wat van laaste af gekom het MWW :)  lol...those backmarkers winning sure looks good.

Meant to put this here last week(or sometime)  but...

Khumalo's ride on VIHAANS WEB....when losing to Soho Star....was absolutely Brilliant i think. He judged the pace brilliantly and was beaten by the weight diffrence in what was almost an photo.

Will take of the blinkers, but only for the upcoming week.

I am definitely not an expert on race riding, but am a great Armchair punting jockey................

Best way for me to find future winners and place getters is through watching replays.
Posting my rides of the week forces me to keep watching them.

Different views from different angles with so many variables and factors.
Punting on the ponies is by far the most pleasurable and interesting form of gambling.

Soho Star (Lerena) having Vihaans Web's (Khumalo) number:

100%  agree with all of the above.  When i started analyzing way back i always tended to favour backmarkers because of how it looked when they won from behind. Last 5 years about 85 - 90% have been on horses  thats either leading ,handy or midfield. Thats when i truly started to get stuck in ST. Gives you a better understanding of a race....of HOW RACES TEND TO BE RUN. In that replay of SOHO STAR...Bling judged the sectionals perfectly, but was outdone by a horse who was better of at the weights by 4kgs for an 0.15L beating. And the Sectionals proved that the pace of the race was good...hence me saying Bling did everything possible to get his horse so close....a brilliant ride(imho) the only time i use 'form study'  or  'Horse A beat Horse B by 2L blah blah' is after the races...it shows who put on an even better effort.  Remember...any horse can 'fly home' if they go hammer and tonges up in front. But anyways....keep posting those Replays, i will keep watching them...and hopefully get more winners:)
