Really like this card , Race 4 Nazare 20/1"beat Rafa bay 3/1 recently at similar weights , twentytwentyvision got hit 8 points for his last win and looks beatable,  will have an eachway on Nazare

I agree ito the card - I like the card - unfortunately Elembee (who I thought would finally win today) has been scratched ... thoughts - 

R1: Some support for Clevor Trevor, but on form the filly Queensland looks hard to beat (beat subsequent winner Windsor Silk easily); Umzingele Wenyathi imo is held, but according to the Computaform Speed Ratings holds the filly (who gets 2,5 kgs from UW) - so could be dangerous; interesting the betting support for the Peter's runner (Rifle Queen) who has an 'unfashionable' jock on top   

R2: First-timer Stormy Day has found betting support into odds-on, so could have the beating of Sistership (half-sister to the well-performed Rulership) who made a good debut after a slow start last time out ; Gaslight Dancer is held imo, so it looks a 2-horse race

R3: Competitive sprint imo, so Chieftan is no value at current odds; One Fell Swoop represents the biggest danger - always seemed better suited to 1000, and first run after a break when beaten by Chieftan - blinkers get re-fitted; on the last run behind Chieftan, Cosmic Star is 4 kgs better off, but I'm guessing that the 2-draw down this straight is a disadvantage; Halberdier courtesy of the apprentice looks well-weighted, while others like Warm Winter Night, Tchaikovsky and Karate Kid (even though may be needing the run is twice a winner over this track and trip), have chances as well

R4: After the scratching of Rafa Bay, Twentytwentyvision looks hard to oppose after an imppressive win last time; hard to find a realistic danger - Espinoza might be effective over the straight 1000m, while Faithful Neo (drawn 1), Don'tshootthebarman, Biofarmer (seems held by Espinoza) and Nazare are closest to 20/20vision as per the betting, but imo are grasping at straws to beating the favorite

R5: After Elembee was taken out, it seems a wide open race; I Am Regal first choice, but she as breathing problems (often 'blowing'), so no surprise if she gets beaten; any of Art Nouveau, Wagram, Teo Torriate, and Instant Attraction have chances, while trainer Labuschagne had a winner during the week, so Party Punch (80/1) looks well weighted and could follow up for the stable

R6: Had a look at the weights, I think Twostep Queen is big value at 20/1 - very well weighted and the apprentice is very capable imo; any of the others in single-figure odds need to be considered

R7: Best bet for me Max the Magician - ideally suited to 1400, and imo would be hard to beat; danger is Zanthar, who in his pinultimate ran well behind subsequent winner of the Highveld Winter Series (Choisinaada) at handicap weights

R8: Open race; Fostinovo probably best this track and trip, but he has not won for 975 days ; Open Highway threatening to win, but not a race where I would spend the rent money on

I think SISTERSHIP wins here....but the value has to be GASLIGHT DANCER....pity there are only 6 runners in race...so im forced to try my luck at an 1st 2 place at Hwood.  Lots of pace in race 1...and it looks like track is running fast....will suite GD
