What did Van Zyl do in a few months that Michael Roberts couldn't do with Queen Of The Spear?
Unbelievable the improvement from one trainer to another.
Either one hasn't a clue or the other is a magician.
Durbs...surely you(as an anti purton brigade) see this happening season upon season in HK? During the 1st 3 months of every HK season
its not so much that 1 trainer is so much better than the next...I explained it just 2 weeks ago on another thread. Imho....i think a change is pretty good to horses. I have picked up that even the Co.puter syndicates knows this. Horses with no form to recommend will get strongly backed because of a change of trainer(ofcoz their are daily trackwork videos and times to see improvement) but some show nothing and still get backed. I way of thinking is that they befenit ALOT...from a change of scenery training style ect....Just like any sports team does with a change of a coach. Like Vardy's Team winning the EPL...name eacapes me now
