I'm not saying that it won't come, but that the real thing will continue as well.

its all related to cost, please believe me its more expensive to show/host a local meeting than to redirect a feed from the UK.

If phumelela could get Gods number they would call him and ask for 30 days and do nights of rain across SA. The ammount of money they would save in stake payouts would be astronomical and after the 2nd week the pools would be just as large on the overseas racing being shown.

The thing is they are not alone, over here there is a bitter war over pictures and some betting shops already dont show all the meetings, this is because the fruit machines and the virtual racing and guess what the racing from SA is cheaper......

I have it on good authority that P are looking @ buying the English tote,as well us other such options. They are looking to globalize long before they localize!Continual complaints from the racing public simply fall on deaf ears, and I for one have given up on trying to make suggestions for the betterment of the game as I am simply worn out.

It's just pathetic the way we are treated.

We are not without some blame. If we didn't bet on all this crap which they give us it would go away pronto.

Agreed.

These are the Borrowdale pools today:

PA 254559
P6 286610

I don't bet on Borrowdale, but I think the PA maybe gets to 30 000 usually.People are simply just sick to gamble,so in some ways P are justified in just continuously churning out as much racing as possible. The question is whether it is sustainable in the long term.

Punters may also think that a Zim exotic can't possibly be harder to catch than some of the nightmares we've had in SA recently!
