Catsmug has strong opinions and often spoke a lot of sense. I think he has racing's interest at heart but hasn't got the first clue how to communicate with other posters.

Unfortunately he came across as a bitter, cynical, arrogant and intolerant person who has deep resentment for everyone who does not share his opinions.

On the whole despite some of the positive he brought in I think this forum is better off without him and I hope he never comes back.

Sasky your entitled to your own opinion, I however differ.

Sure Cat got a bit too wound up at times - but his heart does have the best interests of racing and Horses in particular in mind most of the time.

And I for one do miss his contributions, and will certainly buy the man a jar when next in SA. As well as Jess and the boys, lifes too short guys and I truly TRY and live life as the glass half full not empty.

Having said all that, I respect Dave decision, as he has to 'run' the site with all that entails, however I do sincerely hope that one day things can be patched up, and that once again the cat and the boys will frequent the site.

All the best to SA connections with all the big races this weekend, and I can't wait for JJ to race in UK!
