Just to add...The Cat Can Run lost 5 lenghts or so in the race, but finished like a lightning bolt from way back on a so - called fast track...on terms would have won...
To add more...none of Hill's rides did anything on Thursday...not the horses...the JOCKEY...NO GO!
Even Lerena's ride on ROYAL CLASH in the same race was suspect and Dancing Cherie...
Looked like all the jockeys went nowhere in a hurry pulling their horses waiting for Garreth Wright to fly past and win after the filly hasn't placed since February '08!!!!! What a farce and the trainer's lame excuse was a knee chip operation...WOW what a recovery in 75 days...bull!!!!
That's facts Pirates...lol ...let's watch all three mentioned next time...they will all propably win or run close or be try to win...

No pirates i've been arround long enough and that's why this is a so called freedom of speech democratic country and why this forum is open to criticism and say what you see...
If you're a Hill fan so be it...doesn't mean i have to be...I've been taken for a ride by trainers and jocks bull before by telling me how good my horses are while they pocket the cash... Once ive been told not to bother putting a rand on my horse or in the p6 but before the race he was 20/1 ...then 14/1...then 8/1... and jumped 7/2 and shat in by 4 lengths just to find out how R800 000 was won on my expense...
Punters have exactly the same attitude i have, they all love racing but want TRANSPARENCY...That's why the tracks are empty and believe me the pools are mostly made up by middle class - lower class individuals of the population and the schemers take the money... no public...no horse racing...
Prove me wrong and i'll change my point and attitude...

Thanx Greg...Rajinzky on Sunday...Clairwood race 1...appie back on - claims 4kg...reverts back to 1200 where she finished well on debut. I'm wary of R600 000 Victory Moon first timer as well as De Kock & Laird runners as they both ran 2nd on debut...
TRANSPARENCY: My jock & trainer said she works VERY WELL, FIT - expect a very decent run. If she jumps on terms and 3 - 4 lengths behind pace, will do her best work at the end.
Include in Trifecta's & Quartets - and maybe worth a R100 for place and even outside winning chance. Believe me my jock will ride his heart out - i believe in young RYAN CURLING - one for the future and the notebooks...

During the 1970's 1980's and half way thru the 1990's we could only see the race once..that was on the track...
just as well for the jocks and the trainers..
during the 1970's ...no TV..
during the 1980's ...no teletrack with replays..
so..as punters we were dof..
they had the punters for breakfast...
I know...I stood on the course with Viv de Villiers..
HOWEVER....now...we have teletrack...we have replays...we have home recording...
the punters are no longer dof...
we watch the race over and over..
jocks have riding styles...
the way they hold the wip..
the way they use the wip..
the way they jump...
the way they ride the last 200-300 meters..
patterns...patterns..patterns..
so when they ride outside the pattern...we can see it..
we know which jocks are no good on which fav for which trainer...
it's a pattern..
we have interbet..
we see the moves..
we see when the horse is no good..
we see when the horse will win..
we have brains...
we have eyes.....
If we had to do an intelectual comparison punters vs bookmakers + jockeys..
now...for those punters that cannot see....best you join the other side..
it's the same as rugby..cricket...the TV ref..replay...do you think the spectators are blind..
don't need stipes to tell us..
Its my money...
that keep the business alive...
not the owner...
not the trainer...
not the jockey...
not the bookmaker...
it's my money....
without my money on the tote....no stakes for races..who will put up the stake money..
so every time we see a move...we will put in in the public view...

i agree with andre, we just need punters and virtual racing. nothing else does count.
