Hotline - All the best with CB in the girlies grade 1. I would love nothing more than to see her win - will silence a lot of critics - seems tough on MR and weights though. Will be shouting her home all the way. Nice way for Basil to finish up in SA - Cocoa Beach x Red Rake

Enjoyed Roberts comments but had a good chuckle at Stan Elley who twice thanked Betting World for the odds only to cut himself off and change to World of Sport (the sponsors). To rub salt in the sponsors wounds Robert then quotes the 2/1 at Interbet so some handy free advertising for BW and IB, you can't beat live TV.
Agree with Saksy the stats on each horse was over the top

It should be a good start to racing for Met,especially after RB's comment that he backed Maclcomino to win in last start.Just beaten.
I would also like 2 remind clansmen tht the Snaith stable has a tendency to churn out winners on this day.Foot in mouth,i will be ignoring Spakling Gem.
S Comack has been riding very well recently in CT and i think he will make amends for misjudging the finish line in the VodaJuly a few years back.
Also feel that TAN CAN with top jock is a lively runner in last.

Should be a very competitive card, and a very competitive Met.
I will be backing Big City Life on the day; exraordinarily good value at 14/1...in my opinion, Pocket Power will not win.
He was punished severely by Faydherbe to win the Queen's Plate, and and just seemed to struggle for a long way before getting up to win it.
I know he won, and Bernard says all the right things [never does more than just enough to win, does have a flat spot but not worried as he always picks it up]...tomorrow his flat spot will last right to the line...

Oracy to win with a well-timed finish under Strydom.

I really fancy Kapil to run a big race tomorrow, but wouldn't be sad to see Pocket Power win.

I love this; everybody having their say - who knows who is going to be right: the way I read the form tells me that Red Rake to hold on - just.
Taking the form as gospel (and I have no other more relaible info or tool to help me), Fabiani holds PP and BCL (easily) on the Queen's Plate run and is in turn held by Red Rake on the Premiers run. PP holds his sister who holds Mother Russia and Kapil. Oracy tough task from the draw, but still holds Dan who holds BCL - if Oracy were drawn better, I would have made him the winner. So:
1st: Red Rake
2nd: Oracy
3rd: Fabiani
4th: Pocket Power
But I really hope PP can make history.

frodo, the form gospel might be right, but remember some of these horses havenever even run at kenilworth. if you try and take on a home team you have to be bloody good as the cape horses are exceptional in their back yard
