Shayne Welman, I beg to differ! He works his ass off and has good training styles, Basil taught him well. Surely you cant judge a trainers ability on his 1st months runners!! He has good owners behind him and when his luck turns you will see the results.

Surely he took over a fully functioning stable that he was involved in prior to Basil leaving, as an owner i would not expect the stable to need a few months to find its feet.
I wish the oke all the best but if you compare THE YOGAS there is no doubt that as an owner i would be happier with THE YOGAS

shayne with all due respect mate stables have highs and lows for various reasons and i have no doubt in 6 to 12 months time michael de beer will be on his way..basil and his owners are no fools and wouldnt have given him the job if they didnt have faith in him..as for yogas when the going gets tough i feel for him as his boss has zero mercy ..in fact my long term prediction is she will be out the industry in 5 years
