YORK EBOR MEETING
9 months 2 weeks ago - 9 months 2 weeks ago
Good morning, everyone!
We’re looking forward to some excellent racing at the York Ebor meeting this week.
Day one kicks off on Wednesday:
Below is a reminder of one of the greatest winners of the Juddmonte International.
Good punting👍
We’re looking forward to some excellent racing at the York Ebor meeting this week.
Day one kicks off on Wednesday:
- Race One: A very open event with no clear favourite.
- Race Two: The Acomb Stakes. Ruling Party could edge out Lion in the Winter in what looks like a match race.
- Race Three: The Voltigeur Stakes. Los Angeles might continue the successful run for the O’Brien/Moore partnership.
- Race Four: The big one! I’ve already said plenty about City of Troy in previous posts. The Juddmonte has become a very competitive race after final acceptances, and the champ is now 12/10—a price that could prove generous if Moore brings him home.
- Race Five: The Sky Bet Stayers. Ex-hurdler Samui will need a special ride from Jamie Spencer to be in contention.
- Races Six and Seven: These races are wide open, so you’ll need plenty of coverage in your exotics. But keep an eye on Oisin Murphy, who’ll be giving it his all.
Below is a reminder of one of the greatest winners of the Juddmonte International.
Good punting👍

For me this is the best UK meeting of the year.
Good track and right time of the year that attracts top horses.
R2 RULING COURT
Very impressive at Sandown and beaten horses run well since.
R7 INVITED
Run in good previous company and 8/1 nice each way price.

Have to agree Ruling Court was very impressive when winning on debut and he should be hard to beat.
I fancy Kings Gambit in the Great Voltiguer .
Think we could see a special performance from City of Troy going on O'BRIEN comments.
The rest of the card looks really competitive.

Dave,
York thoughts.
Race 1: Was going to have a serious punt on Rachel's winner, Holkham Bay, but he's drawn 22. Low numbers best in York sprints. Still, will back him each-way.
Race 2: Euro 2,3m buy Ruling Court to beat O'Brien.
Race 4: My favourite horse, Alflaila, is a 3-time course winner and can seriously challenge City Of Troy and French horse.
Race 7: Big field but like Sex On Fire (Jamie Spencer) who looked unlucky at Goodwood and Easterby's unbeaten Scatter Penny.
Cheers, Molly

Durezza is better than 40/1 odds. Eachway or places

Ryan Moore once again proving that he has no pier with that ride on Lion in Winter.

Royal Rhyme 125/1 what a price for such a good horse. Can’t see it winning but exacta with City of Troy
