Interesting day's racing in spit of the small fields; thoughts ....
R2: Prince of Kahal imo better over 1200, so I think he will struggle to catch Dalai's Promise; I think Donny G might run the Prince out of the BP
R3: Gold Griffin seems hard to beat against these; Verdi a possible danger going 2000 again
R4: Not a lot between Perfect Light and Arabian Sunrise on their last run - that was a weak field imo, so I think Therecanbeonlyone is the right one - certainly on her penultimate I think her form is stronger; Floribunda did not run on Thursday and may be a threat over the 2000
R5: The Bosbok worthy favorite on form; support in the market for So Long Spring, who might have sneak here off bottom weight
R6: Closely matched between the top 4 in the market; All at Once tries further and could be the surprise packet
R7: Very trappy; Eurostorm my hesitant first choice; but a field race imo
R8: Maiden handicap for fillies; Cotopaxi with the allowance gets a whopping 6.5 kgs from the top weight, so is my first choice; Hightail the main danger from Full Force (held by Cotopaxi on their last run) and Wishonaire (needs to reproduce the run on Poly)
R9: Toughest race on the card; Chouette good maiden win beating a filly who ran 3rd in the Greyville feature on Gold Cup Day, so first choice; but you can make a case for most, bar maybe Sally Called and Tombola
Enjoy
