RIP..

hard to believe that all 3 of the "big" showdown in the 95 RWC - Lomu, Joost and Small have passed on..

Are you living your life or waiting to die?

Former Springbok wing James Small has passed away at the age of 50.

According to Netwerk24, it is believed Small suffered a heart attack on Wednesday.

Small played 47 Tests for the Springboks between 1992 and 1997 and was part of the team that won the 1995 Rugby World Cup on home soil.

Small continued to play an active role in rugby through coaching at various clubs as well as the NWU and Leopards in recent years.

Condolences to his family, friends and the rugby fraternity at large. He will be sorely missed.

Very sad...and the wife was never shy to tell me that he was her favourite rugby player...

And I knew it had little to do with her assessment of his rugby ability !!

Condolences to family and friends...
