the next three pitches will all suit his bowling. He should end up with around 40 wickets for the series.

Day 5 England have a lead of 311 yet they continue to bat. They obviously dont think that their bowlers are good enough to bowl Pakistan out in 90 overs. Crazy call by them.

Just read an article of the state of cricket in Zimbabwe. Terrible really as they have produced some real quality players over the years. Streak, the Flower brothers, Tabiu, Olongo, Masakaza even Hick was a Zimbabwean and the current England player Ballance as well. They say that the government started the downfall by intervening re the selection policy. Looks like the same is happening in SA and SA cricket could fall away just like over the way it has on the other side of the Limpopo.

AB de Villiers has admitted injuries have snuck up on him "like a thief in the night" but he remains committed to playing international cricket and building the South African culture as the team continues to go through transition. De Villiers will sit out the two-Test series against New Zealand with an elbow problem - while also nursing several other niggles - but was part of the squad's pre-season camp where they thrashed out goals for the future.
"I have five to six niggles at the moment, including the shoulder that everybody knows about which started about eight months ago. I have been hanging in there. I did fool myself a bit in thinking that I could just keep going and keep going and it has sort of caught up with me a bit," de Villiers said at the launch of the series in Durban. "It's a big shame that I am losing out a few Test matches. Unfortunately it's happened that way. It caught me like a thief in the night. This was not part of the plan."
De Villiers admitted playing "a lot of cricket in all three formats all over the world definitely played a role" in him being sidelined but has dismissed suggestions that he may consider retirement from some formats in order to manage his workload. Rumours of de Villiers hanging up his boots, which dominated last summer, have resurfaced with the imminent release of his autobiography next month but de Villiers is targeting an October comeback.
Well AB if you keep chasing big pay days this is what happens.

Sri Lanka blitzed out the Aussies in 3rd test to whitewash the Aussies 3-0 on the spinning tracks. At least Warner put up a fight, but once he fell the rest folded like a house of cards.

Match still delayed by the wet outfield. Crazy is this day and age they have not designed something that can disperse of the water. Time to put on my thinking cap.

Are we playing well or are NZ just feeling the effects of complacency after competing against such weak opposition prior to this tour?

Only follow T20 Cricket Leagues around the world but what a farcical finish to the County Cricket Championship. Somerset got hard done by after Middlesex vs Yorkshire ended in Middlesex winning after Yorkshire got dismissed all out in a chase of 240 or so. This is after Yorkshire who also had a chance of winning the title, started bowling lollies to Middlesex so they could declare and chase a score. Bowling lollies to contrive a result is against the spirit of the game. Middlesex ended the game by taking the last 3 wickets in a hat-trick though.
