Somerset got hard done by after Middlesex vs Yorkshire ended in Middlesex winning after Yorkshire got dismissed all out in a chase of 240 or so. This is after Yorkshire who also had a chance of winning the title, started bowling lollies to Middlesex so they could declare and chase a score. Bowling lollies to contrive a result is against the spirit of the game. Middlesex ended the game by taking the last 3 wickets in a hat-trick though.

that match was a total farce. What even makes it worse is that when the two sides agreed on a total to chase Yorkshire had to give assurances that if they lost wickets they would still chase the target, so you had Yorkshire in no position to win with 7 wickets down and 5 overs to be bowled yet they kept of swinging the bat. Somerset have every right to feel aggrieved.

The ghost of Hansie rearing its head to contrive a result just like SA against England at Centurion a few years ago ?? !! :(

No AB for the home one dayers and the tour of Australia. Playing far too much 20/20 and throwing himself around the field and now the Proteas suffer. Australian pace attack looks weak. Proteas to take this 4-1

unknown Aussie attack but their batting is strong
Proteas won't score enough runs to beat them - 3-2 to Aus

The Proteas seem determined to make me swallow my words - but maybe we should not get our hopes up too much as this Australian team looks almost as weak as their rugby counter-parts; still our batting seems to have improved a lot (at least in the limited overs format), to such an extent that the selectors even left out Amla on Sunday  and still made the Aussie attack look very ordinary. Still worried about the bowling attack though - Rabada does look the real deal and Tahir very valuable; however the rest imo not really consistent enough
