Piedt definately not playing 3rd test. Him and Russouw been released to play franchise match, and return for 4th test.

Even contest so far, think that 340 will be a very good first innings score on this wicket.

Englands day now. Yet again Du Plessis gives away his wicket. Vilas now has an opportunity to grab this chance and force his way into the side on a permanent basis. I see a solid 40 from him coming up

in the crapper now and unless Morris can come out and smash a few around SA will be on the back foot for the rest of the test. 300 plus is a must.

van zyl, du Plessis, bavuma and vilas all gave away their wickets. England will rack up at least 450 on this pitch

good fight back by Rabada and Morris. Another hour or so at the crease tomorrow and 340 will be on the board. If that's the case then game on.

Dam internet was offline the whole day....

I agree with you that many of our batsmen gave out wickets away which was disappointing... But in saying that, when England's bowlers bowled well, no batsmen looked in... Hopefully our bowlers learn from this and don't try to many things. Just get itght from the outset and we will get wickets... I think 280 is enough to have a lead after both 1st innings....

they flashed up a list of first innings scores in tests at the wanderers and if anything to go by then SA have enough already to win the test

Very handy quick runs this am... Also good that we going to have a bowl still early on in the day before the sun has baked the wicket.... Was good to see our tail "wagging", been a while since that has happened....

One of the best prepared pitches around. Interesting hour or so play now before lunch SA need at least two wickets before the break. Every SA batsman got into double figures no score higher than Elgars 46 shows that this is a great wicket for both batsman and bowler
