Although the draw is more than not going to happen (as you guys mention), however, I do believe this has done our confidence well, and England's confidence will have taken a dent...

Squad for final two tests will be interesting...especially since some of the bowlers may be over injuries...3rd test starts next Thursday so enough time for rest and recovery...

most definitely. Cook is out of form, Hales is still learning, Compton just blocks. Get those three out in the first 20 overs at the Wanderers and the pressure is on the rest. Steyn just has to play.
I see that the West Indies are still batting in their 1st innings in Sydney going into the 5th day. Rain has spoilt that match but I am sure that its saved some West Indian blushes.

I bet the most irritated Aussies are the batsmen.. They would have been wishing to have another knock and get another ton

If I'm not mistaken, I thought I heard earlier Steyn should be good, but Philander probably won't be fit, but I do stand to be corrected.

Philander did not look good at the ground yesterday they showed him in a foot brace so that's doubtful but Morris looks a reliable replacement. Good with the bat, brilliant slip fielder. Just to get him to bowl and he does play his cricket on the Highveld so all good for SA in the next test.

I think that it was you Karma who said that Piedt must play in India. You were right as he is progressing nicely and will definitely play plenty of more times for the Proteas.

Bowls too quick through the air..slow it down to give it a chance to grip and turn...talent though...

SA have never had a great spinner. Omar Henry was ok as was Pat Symcox but then nothing until Tahir came along. So Piedt must grab this chance with both hands and work hard so that his name is first on the team sheet when selecting the team

3rd Test team
Elgar
Cook
Van Zyl (last chance saloon)
Amla
AB
Bavuma
De Kock
Morris
Steyn or Vijoen
Radaba
Morkel
Piedt to go along for more team experience as the pitch has to be for quicks.
Van Zyl or Cook not to play if they think they might need some spin in that case Duminy
