Can't agree with this comment!!!! He had a team 3 -0 up who let it go -there comes a point on the field when it is the captain responsibility- the one person who has let Liverpool down ,more than anyone else,in the last few weeks is Gerrard-he is well past his sell by date.

Defending the lead was pointless. Rogers expects City to win their remaining two games and for Liverpool to have stood any chance at all they had to score about 15 goals in their remaining fixtures. They didn't lose the league at Crystal Palace.

Liverpool needed to get two wins to have any chance...worrying about goal difference should have been secondary...should have held on to what they had...I'm not complaining as I took the FT Draw and Juventus to win double...

I just posted something on another thread.

As long as they are playing Champions League, they will never win the EPL.

Not as pointless as giving up the 3 points!.................and taking 1 instead!

3 points still gave Liverpool a chance of the league (I would guess about 30-35%)
That has now reduced to about 3% ................ 15 goals was never achievable!!!!

No need to sack him. We not like united who give six year contracts and words of support to their new manager saying they will support a new manager through thick and thin and then fire him 10 months into the contract. Not exactly classy stuff. Moyes's united was 7th when given the sack. Rodgers came 7th last season, Liverpool had faith and kept him, and look how nicely they are playing.
