Its convenient for United to tell all that they pulled out of the deal. Makes them look as if they are trying to buy players. No world class player wants to sign for them.

Liverpool have been very active as they have signed their 4th player already and are looking at signing more. They may fall into the same trap as Spurs did last season by signing too many new players and could fall flat on their faces. Man City look like they are signing half the Porto side and Chelsea half the Atletico Madrid side. Arsenal are going German and Man United are going nowhere.
