Arsenal manager has stated today that they would be better suited to play in the Europa League next season as they are not making any impact on the Champions League. This now becomes very interesting as they are 3rd in the league just a single point behind 2nd place Man City.

Will he now start selecting teams that wont get that Champions League spot? If so then Man United and Liverpool can start preparing themselves for the Champions League.

Or is it just out of frustration that another season has gone and no Champions League. Only time will tell. In the meantime the magnificent Juventus are ready to fight tooth and nail tonight when they take on Dortmund and thus progress into the quarter finals.

Just looking at some stats didnt realise that Arsenal had not won the EPL since 2003-2004 .... think its time Mr Burns was moved on?

That was the season that they won it by going unbeaten. Building the Emirates has cost them players and championships as they had to sell their best players in order to pay for the stadium. The big problem was breaking up the side after they lost in the Champions league final in 2006. Its taken almost 10 years to have a side competing again and it wont surprise me if they win the league next season as I believe that they will be signing a top class keeper and centre back in the close season. Average keepers have cost them over the past 3 years.

Surely that was out of frustration CnC as the funds in Camps league vs Europa is quiet a difference. Gunners have themselves to blame for the knock out. I could not believe that it was that same Monaco team that scored three goals in England.

Dean Arsenal went into the first game thinking that they had it won before the match kicked off. As you say its their own fault that they are out, mind you it would have only prolonged the inevitable as they would have gone out in the quarters no matter who they got.
