Any shocks? United getting bashed 3-0 by Everton,Liverpool only drawing?
The dominant team of the year took a bit of stick for not scoring, for only 2nd time this year.
Some blatant penalties not given as well.
Chelsea are ruling the roost.

United disappointed rather than "shocked". But if they were going to talk up their performance of the previous week as they did (wrongly imo) then a big fall was in the waiting... I think LVG thinks they are playing better than they really are, still a big job to be done. I actually couldn't see a huge difference in their performance in the two games, maybe a little more sloppy against Everton.
Leicester - penalty miss at one end and score the next minute, maybe Houdini is around but no doubt plenty twists and turns still to come in the relegation battle.

Bournemouth tonight.... huge for them!

Oh Chelsea... probable congrats to them and I guess they won't care but they have been desperately dull for a team with so much talent. Not just the last two games, more half the season. But, they deserve it so well done to them (assuming!).

LVG needs a new back 4,maybe not a left back,as I'm the resident expert on United, that's my opinion.Defending by Valencia and Smalling for the 3rd goal was shocking.

The defending for all three was poor, particularly the 2nd, should never allow a free header let alone one at the near post from a corner. The first and third had elements of bad luck. The guy offside (Lukaku?) went towards the ball and stopped and even he assumed the flag was going up. That doesn't excuse Valencia and Smalling not coming back or even more so perhaps, McNair stopping and turning around but, human nature... not an excuse as they should be drilled into playing to the whistle but a little unlucky in the way it happened, full credit to Morales (I think) though as he was the only one in sight who reacted as he should have. For me, it is a flaw in the rule, if the guy in an offside position moves towards the ball he is naturally affecting the play imo but it is the same for all I guess. The first, just one of those where everything just happened to the split second to suit Everton, that's the way it goes sometimes but still left too exposed. Carrick makes a huge difference. It is the comments about how good we are playing that worries me most, I really just don't think we are. We still look vulnerable and are prone to mistakes in stupid positions, we look brittle especially in the midfield and we are just not creating anything clear-cut, that may be difficult given the way some teams play against us but that is just fact and it is up to us to find the ways and we don't really look like doing it. We are not battering teams, we are pussy-footing around them. Waffle done ;)

United have been poor , and the "how good we are" is in comparison to how atrocious a start they had .. there has been improvement , though this match brings the supporters back to earth after dreaming about trophies next season ..
