Some of these matches are worth a look imo, with at risk players proving points, you also need to remember some big clubs will have 2 or 3 different teams playing in some of these matches pre season... it`s sometimes more of a " man utd 11" than a proper man utd the pitch up at some of the smaller venues

for me the season kicks off on the first day of the PL. These friendlies are meaningless for the fans. Only the fanatics take an interest.

Thats why it`s worth a look chicken.. sure Monaco have a few South Americans in their squad that won`t travel today etc
