Well done UTD , proving to everyone that they are never messed with
David De Gea's £29m move from Manchester United to Real Madrid has collapsed because the necessary paperwork was not submitted in time.
No official announcement has yet been made by either club.
As part of the deal to sell De Gea to Real, United were planning to bring Keylor Navas in the opposite direction.
There is no precedent for Spanish clubs being given additional time to conclude transfers as there is in England.
Blame for the failure to complete the deal is already being apportioned.
Who says what?
Reports in Spain claim United were responsible for the deal collapsing.
The line is that they did not get their paperwork to Spanish Football Federation headquarters until a minute after the 23:00 BST deadline.

If the transfer does go through, it will as Madrid been a far bigger club then fading Man United, then DeGea will go on a free transfer at the end of the season. So they lost 20m plus the Real keeper. Rojas the next wanting to leave

I would think van goon would want this deal done
29 mil plus a player is good business
Remember he goes for free in 12months time and
Will be worth less in the next window
The player is not even making the squad these days

Hearing it was Madrid's stuff up. United were getting the deal of the century with De Gea having only one year on his contract. Navas is sheer class and the Madrid fans want him to stay. A straight swop would've been fair in my opinion considering the circumstances of De Gea's contract. Now unless someone gets a big bribe, United essentially have De Gea on loan from Madrid this year and will have to pay for Navas next year  I can assure you United got those papers in on time, as for Madrid......

When it comes to transfers, I have zero respect for Real Madrid.
KR don't believe it was 29mil plus, think it was 29-11 (Navas fee).
Chicken, don't believe RM will ever be a bigger club than MUFC (though who knows what the future holds) but that might depend on your definition of "big". Would, imo, be fair to say that, at this moment in time, United are a football TEAM struggling and, if I am totally honest, I think the horizon might only get brighter once LVG's contract is up. Hope he proves me wrong but, for me, he just gives me no confidence that things are about to get "exciting" and actually often leaves me somewhat perplexed, both on and off the field.

Agree Englander. I have been saying this for a year now.
LVG (pussface) not the person for the job

So De Gea stays although I cannot see him been selected unless Romerio falls apart as Van Gaal and De Gea have fallen out. Why Real did not get him earlier is strange, maybe they did not want him after all.

Manchester United's net spend for this transfer window is 35,5 million pounds (my keyboard does not have a pound sign).
NOT BAD after all.
BUT WERE IS THE DEFENDER. fcuk LVG
