Arsenal and Chelsea will be feeling very different kinds of pressures when they meet in the FA Cup Final at Wembley on Saturday. We take a look at the match from a betting perspective.

The Gunners are coming off a 3-1 home victory over Everton in their final League match but overall it was a very disappointing campaign and they finished 5th and do not qualify for the Champions League. The Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has been under pressure all season with many long-time fans calling for his head and he will be hoping to ease the pressure a bit with a victory here. Arsenal reached the final courtesy of an extra time victory over Manchester City in the semis and prior to that they saw off non-league opposition Lincoln City and Sutton United.

Chelsea go into this game looking for a double, having comfortably wrapped up the EPL title and they also finished the season in style with a 5-1 home victory over relegated Sunderland. They were too strong for Spurs in the semi-finals winning 4-2 and in the quarters they beat Manchester United 1-0 at home.

We cannot read much into the respective League matches between the sides this season with the home side winning on each occasion and this game is of course being played on neutral territory. Both League matches delivered over 2.5 goals.

The Gunners often do their best work in the FA Cup but I can’t see them living with a Chelsea team that will be playing pressure free football. Arsenal also have injury and suspension concerns and for the more ambitious punter I might even suggest a handicap bet on Chelsea with a -1 available at odds of 2/1.

Chelsea @8/10 is a GOOD bet IMO.

i think the arsenal are worth a bet in the final.they have clicked in the last 5 or 6 games,but their defensive injuries are a worry.

Chelsea very casual when conceding the second goal. They worked so hard against the odds to draw level. Can't see Chelsea drawing level for a second time.
