Chelsea have sold or sent on loan a mind boggling 35 players this transfer window..
Only 5 have come the other way..
Whatever happened to the 11 players and one sub for emergencies days

Alexis to Man City only if Arsenal sign Lemar
Now Lemar says he only wants to play for Liverpool
Now lets see if Arsenal stick by their word and dont let Alexis go
My opinion is that around 9 tonight Arsenal will sell Alexis to Man City and get their £55 million for him and Wenger will tell us that they could not find a replacement but will buy a big star in January, and so goes the merry go round that is Arsenal

How good is this French team. Making Holland chase shadows. The French bench is stronger than most international teams I give them a good shout for the WC

Despite top-flight clubs' total summer outlay reaching £1.4bn - another record - Alexis Sanchez, Ross Barkley, Virgil van Dijk, Riyad Mahrez, Thomas Lemar, Diego Costa and Ross Barkley all remained at their clubs.
Philippe Coutinho, still remains a Liverpool player but could still move as the Spanish window does not close until 23:00 BST on Friday.
Big deals from earlier in the day included:
Kylian Mbappe [Monaco - PSG] Loan, with an option to buy for £165.7m
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain [Arsenal - Liverpool] £35m
Serge Aurier [PSG - Tottenham] £23m
Renato Sanches [Bayern Munich - Swansea] Loan
Nikola Vlasic [Hajduk Split - Everton] £10m
A full list of completed deals (too many to list) www.bbc.com/sport/40789712

Was always off the opinion that Alexis wouldn't be allowed to leave (even tho didn't make economic sense and I would have been proved wrong if Lemar deal had gone thru) so hopefully now his love of playing might mean he knuckles down and shows his best form (same would be nice from Ozil  ). Cant understand reluctance to attend to midfield from AW but possibly Mertesacker might add a little bit more. I am probably in a minority but I cant rate Ramsey who whilst does get odd goals but wastes plenty and spends more time out of position in front of the ball. Good luck to the Ox who may show what he is capable of in the right position.

Alexis does not want to play for Arsenal again as he blames the club for the failure of his deal going through. If he refuses to play he will be in breach of contract and there is no way that he can say to Arsenal that he is unwell or unfit or injured as he then won't be able to play for Chile. If Wenger had any sense he would have sold him two weeks ago and then could have signed a suitable replacement. I think that Wenger will be gone by the end of the month

Rooney charged with drink driving. If found guilty he could be banned from driving for a year, receive an unlimited fine and be jailed for 6 months. Will get off, they all usually do.

Though it is said that there was no bids it is obvious that any enquiries to Les Reed at Saints about Virgil van Dijk, from Chelsea,Arsenal or Man City would have evoked the reply that he was not for sale.
If your Jurgen Klopp from Liverpool you meet at a Little Chef on the M1behind everybody's back and as a result upset the apple cart.
I still think he will go in January for silly money but only after Saints have satisfied themselves they have cover.
