Just like last seasons opener Wenger fucks up his defence selection. We all knew in May that Kosceilny will be suspended and that Gabriel was a long term injury and it would be touch and go with Mertesaker as he has only come back yet he allows Mustafi extra holidays instead of calling him in he gave him an extra week off. This is the result we could have been 4-1 down if Leicester took those chances.

Nerve racking once we get our defence back we should be ok

If this was last March we would have lost that match

New system has now won 11/12 games

Southampton have a unique record that since their return to the PL about 5 years ago they have never won the opening match of the season!
Few draws but no wins.
They have had so many sales each year that probably had difficulty putting a side out.
Been quiet this year only Rodriguez left, which was mutual, and the ongoing saga of Van Dijk, who hasn't played since January ;)
Maybe we will get a win this year.

Swansea are down with plenty of injuries, you will get your opening day win today for sure
