my take on the season as its gets into the business time
Liverpool started so well winning matches with ease and at one point their fans and one or two of their players were suggesting an unbeaten season, well Man City put an end to that. If Man City beat Everton tonight and Chelsea on Sunday then Liverpool will fade away and it will become a two horse race from Sunday night.
Difficult for me to write this but Tottenham are a massive threat but and a big but is that they still have to play Liverpool, City and Chelsea all away and Arsenal at home. Lose two of those and its over for them.
Man United have improved 10 fold since Mourinho got the boot. The players should be embarrassed for the performances that they put in up until Mourinho left. They are playing brilliant football and could well have been proper title contenders if United had fired him a month earlier.
Chelsea play well one week then awful the next. This manager is trying to bring in his way but I dont think that he has the right players as Chelsea are more free flowing.
Arsenal, oh dont get me started, great going forward but a shambles of a defence but in their defence on the 6 times this season that the first choice back 4 started we have only conceded 2 goals including a clean sheet against Chelsea and a win against Tottenham. Hoping to finish 4th but cant see it
Wolves have been the outstanding side outside of the top 5. They have drawn with Man City, Arsenal and United and have beaten both Spurs and Chelsea and are my tip for the FA Cup this season.
Everton have been very poor considering their squad whereas Watford have been very good and will finish at worst 8th.
Poor Huddersfield, mind you they could well win this weekend as they are at home to Arsenal who somehow always manage to lose to the bottom teams away from home at least twice a season
Fulham play some good stuff but look doomed as well and Cardiff should join them as Southampton and Burnley as well as Newcastle appear to have found some form
West Ham are the under achievers of the season mind you they had a very difficult start playing all 6 top clubs inside their first 10 fixtures, Brighton and Palace going along as expected.
Leicester dont know if they want to sack the manager or not as when he plays the top sides they play well but up against the lower sides they struggle and finally Bournemouth all i can say is wow as for such a small club with a tiny ground they have down very well and its down to the manager. Surely a big club will come in for him as imo he is one of the best around

Apparently Marco Silva will lose his job if Everton wins tonight.

We struggled to beat them at home earlier in the season with almost our best team and looking at todays line up and playing in miserable cold windy Yorkshire I don’t know if our softies will be up for it.
