He sent a fax to the club on Tuesday saying he wishes to exercise a clause in his contract, allowing him to leave for free with immediate effect. BBC.

The part I find strange is that who in these days still uses “ fax”?

The biggest problem with British tabloids is 'too much' speculation. If you read stories across all of them you see something doesnt add.
