Am I wrong to say that Man United could be relegated

I know it’s early in the morning and very early in the season but with no big players wanting to sign and proven goal scorer Ronaldo on his way out, is it possible that the unthinkable could happen to Man United again?

They will finish Top Six.

Tradition and history will ensure survival and avoid anything dramatic but as long as Newcastle finish above them I will be happy 😊

.... if they don't come away with at least six or more points, the morale will be very low and the finger pointing (by their supporters) will start. Some of the former player are very critical of the current squad regards their commitment and value they add to the team.

It's fair to say, most teams don't dread going to Old Trafford, anymore. A top six finish is not a guarantee.

From afar - and football is not really my game - but for supporters like myself, we have to be worried about the lack of urgency in acquiring some talent - for me United maybe deserved a draw on the 2nd half performance (after a woeful first half) on Saturday - but one has to think back to the days when the only question against a team like Brighton, was 'how far will we win by' ?'

The games against Liverpool and City last season killed Ole (and one could really not complain about his sacking at the time), but to me they got worse since he left; maybe the new guy can improve them again - but realistically at this stage I think they will battle to finish in the top 6 with the current squad - hopefully there is a long-term plan :dry:
