RIP to a great of the game...

So many greats but I think the one's that stand apart are those from before the mid 90's...soccer was a lot harder then...unlike now when the slightest touch is penalised and players try to milk fouls to get opponents sent off...and the so called stars are protected and given space to show their ability...

So, I'd take Pele, Maradona, Beckenbauer, Puskas, etc over Messi, Ronaldo x 2, etc any day...in fact, I'd much rather watch rugby than a soccer match with all the antics detracting from any ability...and VAR is becoming like SA horse-racing objection "rule"...

Rest in Peace Pele. Thank you for your contribution to the beautiful game, and to the world. Miillions of little kids around the world aspired to be like you.
