If true then may his soul rot in hell as why would you want to kill 150 other innocent people with you.

Is this speculation?
The last I heard was that one pilot was locked in and the other trying to get into cockpit

Other incidents thought to be caused by deliberate pilot action

29 November 2013: A flight between Mozambique and Angola crashed in Namibia, killing 33 people. Initial investigation results suggested the accident was deliberately carried out by the captain shortly after the first officer (also known as the co-pilot) had left the flight deck.
31 October 1999: An EgyptAir Boeing 767 went into a rapid descent 30 minutes after taking off from New York, killing 217 people. An investigation suggested that the crash was caused deliberately by the relief first officer but the evidence was not conclusive.
19 December 1997: More than 100 people were killed when a Boeing 737 travelling from Indonesia to Singapore crashed. The pilot - suffering from "multiple work-related difficulties" - was suspected of switching off the flight recorders and intentionally putting the plane into a dive.

the sad thing is that the black box recorder recorded the pilot banging and screaming on the cockpit door to the co pilot to let him back into the cockpit as the plane started falling and you can hear the passengers screaming. You can also hear the co pilot breathing. They are 100% certain that the co pilot intentionally crashed the plane

When the pilot was still in the cockpit he was planning the landing with Dusseldorf. The black box recorder informs us that the co pilot was responding in a laconic way. The pilot left the cockpit to use the toilet. The co pilot was still alive until the impact as they heard him breathing.

the plane slammed into the side of the mountain travelling at 500 mph (700ks) I could never begin to imagine what the passengers went through.

Shocking and disgusting. If you want to take yourself out then do it where you don't not harm anyone else.

Sad world
They made the doors to the cockpit impenetrable because of 9/11.
