Just watching the news and I know I shouldn't, but I can't help myself.

The earthquake footage is heartbreaking and the devastation is hard to comprehend and our thoughts and prayers are with the poor souls in Turkey and Syria.
The war in Ukraine is also horrific and we can only hope a combined effort can be focused against the Russian aggression.

My thoughts were that Cyril spoke very well and has a grip on what is happening but it's highly unlikely he can solve the countries problems.
I have always said in manufacturing over the years "always employ someone better than yourself " that will make sure you have a strong team to ensure success going forward.
Cyril unfortunately has a top team that is equivalent to Ali Baba and the forty thieves.
The red carpet and executive cars and well dressed 👗 Oscar type vibe was totally inappropriate considering the STATE of the country.
The EFF did their normal clown act and when I hoped we had heard "point of order, honorable members " 😡🤬 for the last time .
The leader of the opposition then pipes up and IMO did the wrong thing by raising another :"point of order" and lost some of the respect I had for him, however he remains one of our only hopes.
If the police had shown any of that enthusiasm during the KZN riots, SA would be in a better position today.,
We can all hope for a better future and we must all try and do our bit to be self sufficient to get SA back to being the preferred holiday destination this includes Spur supporters .
Getting back to Racing
Had a word with Ali yesterday and we have some great racing from Dubai over the next few weeks with visitors from USA and UK, we will start an individual thread.
I have a detailed Cheltenham post on its way and still counting the days .
I am not a very religious person but even if I felt prayer would help the Church is now saying that Father 🙏 should become more gender neutral 😪
