The 2016 Super 7’s is back and it’s Masters time!!
There are a lot of players putting their hands up at moment so this year’s Masters should be a thrilling one. Get those form books out. Study current news. Perhaps look back into the history at Augusta. OR. Just close your eyes and pick the player your finger lands on (it worked for one of our winners last year!)
The rules are the same as always but please refresh your memory with a quick read of the below.
1. Your Super 7’s team and R100 Entry Fee must be in before Wednesday, April
6th at 10pm if you wish to participate
2. The attached Entry List & World Rankings lists are the only lists that can be
used
3. Using the attached lists, please select your 7 players. You MUST select ONE
player from EACH of the following brackets from the world rankings lists :
Position 1-10 / 11-20 / 21-30 / 31-40 / 41-50 / 51-60 / 61+ (for your 7th
player feel free to select someone outside the top 100 but make sure they are
in the field)
4. Should a player of yours withdraw before the Tournament starts, you are
entitled to submit a replacement from that same world ranking bracket no later than 11am on Thursday, April 7th
5. Once the tournament starts no substitutions/replacements will be permitted. I.E. If your player withdraws after the first tee shot is struck, you will receive 100 points for that player.
6. The object of the Super 7’s is as follows; From your 7 selected players you must accumulate the LOWEST possible score in order to win some cash
7. The scoring works as follows: If your player makes the cut, you are awarded points related to their finishing position I.E. if your player wins the Green Jacket you get 1 Point, if he finishes tied tenth you get 10 Points etc. However, If your player misses the cut, you automatically receive 100 points for that player. So the object of the contest is to get the lowest possible score. Choose wisely!
8. Pay-outs will be made to the top 3 entrants as follows: 1st = 60% / 2nd = 30% & 3rd = 10% of the pot
NB – Make sure your selected players appear on the 2016 Entry List, don’t just assume they are in the field!!!
