1 million euros is not going to attract any big names unless they are paid a big appearance fee..I'm surprised the European still have tmts with prize money of only 1,000,000 euros...peanuts in the golf ing world...

Majority of the top pros have already qualified for Open Championship as a result of their world rankings..the 3 positions offered are a carrot for journeyman pro golfers and middle of the road golfers
