Is it a big bluff? Just another way to keep us all inline?
Really don't understand all this ... Thoughts?

SAPREF, who refines oil for Shell and BP near Durban has halted all operations. Its deciding if they want to continue operating or if it wants to sell the plant.
Already Engen has stopped all refining, only oil products, no fuel refining.
I think with Shell its retaliation for them to stop exploring and drilling.
Theres another survey taking place of the Western Coast which is also heading to court.
Investment or Environmentalist....

And in other bombshell news, Djokovic said he will not get vaccinated even if it means him not winning a Grand Slam again. He was on BBC.
www.bbc.com/news/world-60354068
Novak Djokovic: I’m not anti-vax but will sacrifice trophies if told to get jab

Russia has the largest reserves of Gas and Europe is dependent on this gas.
Germany is the largest economy and is most affected by any disruption in supply I think.
Uncle Sam is using the neighbouring countries in Eastern Europe to install missiles and other hardware and this is a direct threat to the very existence of Russia.
The talks were all about stopping Nato from expanding too close to Russia and with Ukraine attempting to join Nato, it would put Russia in a very uneasy position.
Russia will prefer a government in Kiev that is aligned to it (Russia) and not the West and Nato.

Bad stuff this. The stock market has been sliding. We’ve just come out of Covid and now the world will start spending on guns instead of buns.
Earlier on, I did read that Putin was withdrawing some troops. Or is he just playing poker?

This conflict goes back to 2014, and is as a consequence of the Bucharest Summit of 2008 which ends by saying, "NATO welcomes Ukraine's and Georgia's Euro Atlantic aspirations for membership into NATO. We agree today that these Countries will become members of NATO".
Mikesack's last two sentences are on the mark.

Apparently those claims that some Russian troops have been moved from the border are false. Rather, another 7,000 troops have been added. BBC.

I also see that the US won't be sending any troops into Ukraine, but rather will just assist them. NATO countries around Ukraine are ready to jump in and help though.
This is the closest thing to a cold war that we are going to get again. I've got a funny feeling that Putin is just trying to show dominance and if Ukraine joins NATO there will be violence.

Nato won't help UKRAINE apart from supplying medicines, food and weapons
They will defend their own members borders though...
