yes, as the officials favoured the Sharks on all calls. Three times they should have issued a yellow card plus that penalty try was a joke and that pass for the winning try looked forward yet they did not even bother to take a look.

A dos is useful neigh, he as a TMO is just useless. Has everything in front of him but somehow got it wrong most of the time.

There will be times when decisions will go in favour of the Stormers during the season and then you will likely be cheering the referees and those that support the Sharks will castigate the referees in future matches when things are not called in favour of the Sharks...
I'm not keen on the new Super Rugby format...I think it a bit of a joke the way the pools are set up...in my humble opinion, there should have been two pools with the teams from each country split and top two in each pool playing in home and away semi and then final in neutral country with neutral referees...
I've canned my DSTv and just follow some sports on the net so don't exactly know what is going on in matches when I read comments from Clanners but gauge the state of the match from the tone of the comments !!
And from your comments @cnc, I gathered that things were not going too well for the Stormers given your (wind-up?) prediction, during the week, of a comfortable win by the Stormers...

agree with you re the format, plus there are far too many teams in the comp but as we know it's all about the TV rights which brings in millions. The standard of rugby is dropping because of this SA should never have 6 teams they should have 4

I don't see any magnanimous in defeat post's Craig P, do you? After being under pressure for the first 30 minutes, eventually our superior skill and fitness came through. I was a bit hesitant and only predicted them to win by 3 in our Superbru groups. Stupid of me!

If it i were the Stormers coach i would rest 5 players for more pressing opponents in the future and kick off this match with just the 10 players on the pitch which should be more than enough to beat the fin less Sharks

Dont feel sorry for me Craig, feel sorry for the state of rugby in SA. If those were supposed to be the best two teams on the land then there is a serious problem.
