Desperate to find the winner for a change B)

But back to this topic:

How can anyone just accept the choice of Garth April - I really do not care whether he is white or black or pink - does one now become a Springbok after playing a couple of games for a franchise (and how he performed is open to debate); it has been stated that the 'A' squad was the place for 'young players lacking experience' - so should he not have been included in that squad (if the feeling is that he has the potential)

Secondly, how come he found room for 9 Stormers (10 if one counts Kitchoff and I think it would have been 11 had Jean de Jongh been available) - these are the same players who struggled to a last gasp draw against a team who (bar the Kings / Clown) has been the biggest embarrassment to the 'Super 18'. Could it be that these guys somehow have the inside lane when it comes to selection?

Then I also do not agree with the selection of Jan Serfontein and Jessie Kriel - now I am not a Sharks fan, but imo, at least Paul Jordaan has much better 'current form' than those 2 Bulls

On the positive side, he did at least find room for a few Lions B)

F I agree 100 %. The problem with every coach over the years has been their inclusion of to many of their franchise players. Provincialism is not dead when it comes to the Spring Boks. The reason for this is all our coaches are brain-dead pricks who have no clue what they are doing. When they are successful they get fired....so keep employing dooses and they can be manipulated to include enough players of colour. Eddie Jones, Jake White, Steve Hansen etc would not stand for this shit. What they are doing in defence of them is to include whom they think would best fill these positions.........here the void. It will always remain a grey area and stop us from winning or being a force to be reckoned with.
I just hope win or loose we play a better brand of rugger.....running rugby, but is our defence up to it ?
