I assume you a referring to Zain Davids when you talk about the Bosch kid? He really is an explosion of excitement when it comes to a running loosie. A few missed tackles on defence, but a serious threat with ball in hand. I spent some time watching youtube clips of his schoolboy days, and all I can say is wow. Let's hope he continues to shine all the way through to the senior green and gold one day.

You guys need to remember Curwin is still only 18 years old playing for the U20 Springbok side. Utility back. This boytjie has Springbok written all over him. Needs to work on his defence though.

Spookie, you must also remember Zain (good player) played for Rondebosch (Southern suburbs) and there he stood out........ say no more. Not saying he cant become a top player but the amount of tackles he misses for his position and what is expected of him, he needs to up his game big time. Running with ball in hand is not all he must do on the field. We will see how good he is against the stronger sides. I hope I am wrong.

To be fair neigh, the boy has shown his class throughout his youth. He has played provincial rugby since a young age, and got called up to the SA schools side last year after a quality showing at Craven week (Initially picked for the academy side). Bit harsh to say he only stood out in Rondebosch (Southern suburbs), its clear he has held his own in his age group. But yes, I am eager to see how he goes against better opposition.

As mentioned didnt watch the game, but looking at the stats, the kid has a boot on him. Didnt miss a conversion, not sure about penalties though and how hard the conversions were, but 8 from 8 is good anyday.

K, my son is in the WP U19 group, meaning he still has to prove himself to be contracted. He has however been part of his age group with WP from U13 Craven Week. He missed out U18 because of injury and as you know WP U18 won the Craven Week finals by a cricket score. His team mate over the years in WP ended up playing for the victorious U18 Boks side last year.
Spookie I never said the young man hasnt got talent or potential but given his school and their quality of players an above average player does stand out. Last years U18 WP group are a very strong year of players having won all their games from U13. Always fantastic for me to see new talent coming through and doing well. The only gripe I have is coaches taking this raw natural talent and making them play ridiculous game plans that curtail their talents that got them there in the first place.
