Bookies a joke. The Blues beat the "mighty" Rebels, and they shorten from 16to1 to 12to1 to lift the Cup.

Although this seriously takes a lot for me to say (grinds my nuts to a powder), the Bulls are not as weak as some might think... Win the Title - NO WAY, but top SA team, possible imo...

Stormers will beat them. They, the Bulls, talk too much especially their coach.

i think that every SA team are pretty average. They should drop 2 or even three teams then pick the best of the rest for the remaining three teams. The Kings, Cheetahs and Sharks simply dont belong in Super Rugby.

I agree with you that every SA team are pretty average ( compared to the NZ sides), however, the swing of positions could alternate between the SA teams this year, as remember last year tge Sharks played the NZ sides and the Stormers the Aussies (obviously the other sa sides aswell, just making an example)... turn of the tables this year, and a definate turn of positions imo.

Sharks used to be a team that i was worried about playing against. Nowadays teams look at them as an easy win and a bonus point. The Reds will run riot against them this weekend

Highlanders v Chiefs
Chiefs to smoke them and in the process score a bonus point as the Highlanders have two good seasons then 3 average ones. They are due for an average season. Chiefs just keep on rolling out very good players every year. Their structure must be jacked up although i would not like living in or around Hamilton as there is not much to do or to see. Chiefs will be very close to the final this season
Reds v Sharks
The only thing that these two have in common is that they both live in a climate with high humidity. The Reds will run riot against this over rated side. Sharks always talk a big game but have not produced one for around 6 seasons now. There to make up the numbers and fill hotel rooms on their trips, eat at restuarants thus boosting the local economy where ever they play. The Reds to win by 20. Both sides will struggle this season and can be grateful that the Sunwolves and the Kings are in the comp otherwise they could be the bottom 2.
Sunwolves v Hurricanes
Oh dear this could get very messy. The saving grace for the Sunwolves is that they are playing in Toyko and not Singapore so that might just motivate them a bit more and secondly its the opening weekend at the Hurricanes may just be a bit undercooked. Still a win for the Hurricanes by around 25 points. Hurricanes will be still in the comp at the business end of the season.
Crusaders v Brumbies
This could go either way as the Brumbies are pretty good on the road and the Crusaders are not the team that everybody feared in the past. Their support should be out in full force which is always helpfull. Cant see a high scoring match so going to go with around 30 points in total. Cant see either of these sides lifting the trophy at the end of the season.
Warratahs v Force
Force are the weakest team in Australia and it will show as the tahs will put on at least 35 points on their luck lustre countrymen. Another struggling season for the Force. The tahs will finish near the top.
Cheetahs v Lions
Both will struggle this season as the Lions are now on a downward spiral after a great season. Cheetahs will always score tries but will giveaway twice the amount that they score. Lions to win a very high scoring match. 65-45
Kings v Jaguares
Great opportunity for the Jaguares to open the season with a win so long as they can keep 15 players on the pitch for most of the 80 minutes. The Kings will struggle again this season.
Stormers v Bulls
Stormers to start the season with a bang and a bonus point against a team who love to talk a good game (just like their friends the hapless Sharks) Cant see either team troubling the trophy engraver at the end of the season.
Enjoy as i think its going to be a great running rugby season.
