SA make bid for 2023 RWC
8 years 1 week ago - 8 years 1 week agoSA Rugby on Tuesday delivered what it believed was a winning bid to host the 2023 Rugby World Cup at World Rugby headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.
Jurie Roux, CEO of SA Rugby and His Excellency, Mr Ahlangene Cyprian Sigcau, South African Ambassador to Ireland, handed in the 827-page, 8.2kg document that details South Africa’s compelling case to host the tournament.

I would have thought that it would be hosted in the Northern Hemisphere as it usually alternates.

SA will have to host it that will be the only way they will qualify when you look at the state of our rugby and most of the quality players would have left

I hope i am wrong but seriously worried after Zuma departs, that any tournament planning, will be the least of the country's worries?
