Bill Beaumont looked a bit shocked/grumpy when announcing France as the winner. In all honesty, as much as I would have loved us to host it, we have huge internal strife to address first.(Crime,corruption, infrastructure, education etc.)

At lease we wont be subjected to a military coup, as most of our military personal are AWOL or stationed in the DRC :(
