Rugby Championship 2019

Australia + 7.5 looks the bet of the weekend against SA , cant see SA winning this one
NZ - 12.5 looks about right , Argentina are on a high after there super rugby performance but NZ should still be too strong for them

Argentina 25/1 to win Rugby championship
only 1 round this year, and Argies have AB;s and Boks at home

All the Northern Hemisphere sides have so called warm up matches in August/Sept. This Championship basically boils down to that, just getting your options right. Looks like the Boks will not be fielding their first 15 which gives the Aussies a chance to win at Ellis Park for the first time in many a year.
I read today that Argentina are including their overseas players in the squad. This will make them stronger and could well be a good bet to make the semi finals in the WC.

Springbok B side. Top 15 left or leave for NZ today and the replacements leave after the game Saturday.

Australia (Win) and Argentina (+12.5 handicap) is a ball hair under 4/1.. Seems a decent price imo

Imo we could beat the Aussies; Ellis Park is a fortress, and we have a strong tight five, so that's where we have an advantage; have not seen the All Black side, but if they field even close to their best side, I think they would carry too many guns for Argentina - but have to admit the margin seems big

Hope the bookies make the Bokke odds on for the WC so that we can get a better price on the All Blacks.

My Take on the game-
Well done Bokke and you proved me wrong. On saying that, i am still not very convinced. We beat a very weak Aussie side that at times at the first half had us in tatters but the "bounce" of the ball seems to fall our way.... Never the less, a win is a win. I cannot see the Aussies winning any of their 2 remianing games in the championship and will be awarded the wooden spoon...
Next week will be the litmus test to see where we actually are as a squad.
Onto Jantjies.....Herschel that is.... Firstly i would like to apologize to him for putting him in the same catagory as his namesake.... He really did have a good game, but i will refrain from putting him in the world class category for a while until we see how he fares against "top" opposition and when he is under immense pressure...
One thing i will say about him though, is that it is a breath of fresh air finally having a scrummie that can give such quick service and is able to consistantly give quality ball directly from the ruck/maul WITHOUT having to take two/three steps... Personally, i havent seen a bok scrumhalf that has been able to give that sort of quality since Fourie Du Preez... I really hope his rise does not stop and he continues to improve.. He does look to have tons of potential....
