AUstralia to score first try @ 14/10 is a nice price imo... As everyone is now well aware, NZ have become really slow starters. Aus will come out all guns blazing and i predict they will cross the white wash first... I still think NZ will win comfortably and will beat the handicap....
Aus - First Try 14/10
Double -
NZ -12,5 (9/10) x Argentina +6.5 (9/10)
I cannot see Argentina losing by 7 or more. They do not often lose by big margins at home and as far as i remember, we have never really smashed them in Arg.. The handicap looks a sitter...

Good one
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

ABs look all over the place, lucky to beat Argentina, fortunate to draw against SA and now presently being outplayed by the Aussies. They will be going home early from the WC if their present form continues

Only guys in the world that can give the Bokke a run for their money is Wales and Ireland..........
Bokke will lift the WC.
Plenty op depth in the Bok squad.
Bongi Mbonambi keeping Marx on the bench.
Bongi is ‘n yster!

IMHO Rassie will start with Beast, Malcolm and Trevor and Bongi will come on as an impact player. We are very much one of the favourites to win the cup. Think Frans a huge player for us. Thought Damian had one of his best defensive games for a long time. Well done Boks!

IMO, i do agree that we have stepped into the category of hopefulls to lift the cup. I do however think that for us to win the cup, 2 players that are key and should they break down our chances will slip drastically and that is Pieter Steph and Pollard. Pollard had a great game and he is head and shoulders above any other option we have at fly half. Du Toit has an engine like no other in world rugby. His work rate is ridiculous and he never seems to have a completely off day. He is imo the best player in world rugby at the moment. Defiantely the first name on my teamsheet...

I agree we are in the 'hopeful' category - maybe I'm being negative, but I thought the Aussie / AB game was of a higher quality than ours - Argentina was woeful, especially in the 2nd half. I still think NZ will be a force to reckon with - I can't see too many weaknesses in their side; as for the Aussies, they are certainly improving and could surprise at nice odds.
Regarding the 'Boks, we are certainly jelling nicely, and the forwards should be at least competitive; the backs still worry me; yes Pollard played well, but needs to be more consistent; Faf certainly not at his best (either Jantjies or Reinach could easily take over as the preferred choice); the center combination did ok on defense, but lacks imagination on attack, the rest did ok, with Kolbe quite impressive
But overall, things are looking up
