Cocoa Beach is worth another try as is another of my recent "flops" Youth Club, who tries more ground. He gives me the impression he's been looking for it, but only time will tell. Poetic Lass ran a cracker last time and if that wasn't a fluke then she looks weighted with a massive chance off a 63 on her handicap debut.

Morning from a very cold and wet PE. We had heavy rain this week and so not much work on the sand tracks. We have been to the beach with runners so no work missed. 4 runners today.

Race 3 Cafe Society is well. 1200 may be a bit short so hoping for a place.

Race 4 Eye of the World should enjoy the distance. If he can Fransie will run from the front . Place chance.

Race 7 Callisto has a bad draw but will be running on. It is tough to get into these races so have to take your chances.

Race 8 Bermuda Prince is a big runner, sprint up was top class but hope that the ground is not too wet.


Double for the day : Race 1 Envee and Race 8 Bermuda Prince.

Race 7; Hallandale, Appealing whistle, Rise to glory.....all seem to do well in soft conditions. Just my 2 cents
